a birthday // fonda style

We celebrated my brother in law's 21st birthday last week!

His birthday is actually this week, but since he is doing sales this summer we decided to celebrate early!

This was also his first birthday since he has been home from his mission so we had to make sure it was a memorable one.

I seriously love these crazy Fonda's.

They laugh loud + love louder.

Z brought the frisbee for everyone to play with after we ate our dinners + it was so incredibly fun!

The tide was really high + it was the sea's bath time apparently, there was foam EVERYWHERE.

My MIL made the most delicious cake. 

She has an incredible knack for that.

Its always an awesome time when we all got together.

We sang happy birthday + stayed until the sun was behind the tall hotels/condos behind us.

We party until the sun goes down.

I could not be more blessed to have such wonderful in-laws.

I can't wait until our family reunion vacation in June!

one year.

365 days.

so many seconds.

where did the time go?

It feels like it was just yesterday that we were dating.

I was told the first year of marriage is the hardest.

I am not sure exactly what they mean by that.

Fights? Not as much love? Time apart because of work?

Well our first year was nothing like that.

It was laughter at 1:03am.

It was holding hands on the couch while watching hgtv(I'm serious)

It was long road trips to new adventures.

It was working as a team to achieve a goal we had made together.

It was going through more firsts together.

It was learning how to become a wife + a husband.

It was truly the best year of our lives.

I am so grateful to be married to my best friend.

I am so grateful that I get to call him mine for eternity.
